The Fog Days of Summer

It’s that time of the year when cooler nights give way warm days and blue skys. A wonderful side effect of this cool/warm weather is morning mist that blankets the lake each morning, a prelude to a marvelous day. This treat is reserved for the exclusive enjoymnent of early risers; for the mist has usually totally burned off by 8 am. Those rising earlier are treated to a multi-hued sunrise and wonderful paddling conditions.
