Vision Quests
Vision Quest? Dream Quest, that’s right, we’re taking time to venture into nature and dream this month. Two featured events include dream researcher Craig Webb’s Dream Quest while Martha has been busy for months planning to lead her first Vision Quest.
Since recorded history, people have been going off into wilderness on quests to connect with things deep within themselves and the world around them. Indeed, many of our guests appreciate the lack of cell phones, traffic and distractions on any of our experiences, but these Vision Quest trips in particular feature opportunities to step out of time.
There are many places in the world to do a vision quest, but paddling a canoe into a large nature park for a vision quest is a truly unique and often life altering experience.
Martha and I have both had incredible experiences in nature on vision quests of one type or another. These personal Vision Quests led us to establish the Edge as a place for providing all kinds of Edgy experiences for visitors.
