Snow Sticks at the Edge

We are finally having what seems to be normal weather for this time of year. Our first snowfall of winter often occurs on or around Thanksgiving in early October. This year, snow finally sticks on the 10th of November…. seems awfully late.
Over the past few years the seasons have seemed to be changing so that even the fall colours seem to linger a few weeks longer than I recall from the past 10 years here.
We’re all looking forward to getting out for some nordic skiing and snowshoeing this winter so a nice dump of snow would not be unwelcome.
